To accommodate the rapid rise in maritime trade through the Red Sea corridor, TCI supervised the modernization of the North Container Terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port — Saudi Arabia’s premier commercial gateway. The project involved the refurbishment of a 700 m long berth, structural strengthening, pavement reconstruction, and the development of 50 hectares of container stacking yards and terminal support facilities. TCI ensured rigorous implementation of design specifications, materials testing, and marine construction practices, safeguarding operational continuity during works. Commissioned in 2001, the upgraded terminal has significantly improved vessel turnaround times and overall container-handling efficiency, bolstering Saudi Arabia’s strategic trade capacity.
