Designed as a cornerstone of Oman’s long-term industrial diversification, the US $1.4B Duqm Port and Dry Dock development delivers modern container, bulk, and ship-repair functionality on the Indian Ocean. TCI supervised all marine and coastal engineering activities including construction of 9 km of breakwaters, navigation and dredging systems, 35 million m³ of seabed excavation, 3.5 million m³ of land reclamation, quay walls, and harbour protection. Our focus included strict compliance with safety, geotechnical design criteria, and environmental regulations in a high-wave offshore setting. Today, Duqm stands as a globally relevant logistics, shipbuilding, and economic development anchor for the Sultanate.
