MSP was launched to improve essential urban infrastructure in heat-stressed and water-scarce communities, reducing health risks and enhancing service delivery quality. In Jacobabad and selected cities across KP, TCI oversaw the implementation of a 165 km sewerage network, a 14.5 MGD water supply system, 133 tube wells, and a 1 MGD filtration plant with disinfection and storage facilities. The work included technical design review, construction supervision, leak detection mitigation, and network optimization. The project has significantly reduced waterborne disease exposure, enhanced operational coverage, and provided sustainable access to clean water and sanitation services — directly impacting thousands of lives.
