Project Summary

The conversion of the old Karachi–Hyderabad Super Highway into a modern 6-lane motorway improved Pakistan’s most heavily-trafficked trade route, shrinking travel time and strengthening regional freight efficiency. TCI’s supervision scope included asphalt quality control, geometric design compliance, interchanges and bridgeworks review, stormwater/drainage performance, and safety infrastructure validation. The 136 km motorway with 185 km service lanes is a vital segment of the national north-south corridor, giving Pakistan’s economy a more reliable and faster trade spine.
