One of Oman’s most challenging engineering undertakings of its era, this mountain highway carved through steep, rugged topography to create the first modern direct route between Al-Amerat and Quriyat. Over five years, TCI developed route selection, horizontal/vertical geometry, digital ground modelling, retaining structures, cut/fill balancing, and full construction supervision. The project greatly improved regional accessibility, enabling social and commercial integration and laying the foundation for Oman’s national road network expansion.
