Detailed narrative description of the project:

Reko Diq Copper & Gold mining project sponsored by Barrick Gold / TCC required development of marine infrastructure for export of minerals internationally and as such relied on establishment of a dedicated maritime facility.  TCI was engaged as consultants to examine potential sites to study & locate the export terminal within each of the 3 major ports of Pakistan i.e. Karachi Port, Port Qasim & Gwadar.  Detailed Topographical Surveys, Hydraulic & Hydrodynamic Investigations and environmental data collection tasks were entrusted to TCI with use of their sophisticated high precision instruments.

Topographic survey work for selection of land parcel for Copper Ore storage and other associated structures was carried out using Trimble 4000SSI dual frequency Geodetic receivers, GPS antenna and telemetric radio links with backpack  and direct plotting of survey data into GIS software. This was followed by field verification of data collected using RTK & total station equipment. GPS data was analyzed by senior data analysts & after quality assurance, information was exported to Auto Cad & Arc GIS software platforms for digital ground modeling, contouring and other engineering works
